Here is a screenshot of XZ1's risky FAQ from March 17th, 2026 before they updated it
↑
to the people that will call the screenshot inspect elemented or fake, here is video proof of XZ1's risky FAQ question (it's intentionally cropped to focus on the red flag at hand) below.
The TrackBall Side
Now, XZ1 has a division called "TrackBall Distribution" and TrackBall Distribution, is a really... really shitty "distributor", why? Because look below on their TOS, "they" (since it's a one-man operation) are lazy morons!
Yeah, this TOS was updated on January 3rd, 2026, just one (1) day after XZ1 Recordings had filed an Inc. according to the hbe.dcca.hawaii.gov website (you can look at the hbe.dcca.hawaii.gov documents below, the link is updated with the new portal hbe.dcca.hawaii.gov)
Official Public XZ1 Recordings Business Documents (leading to the new portal)
Not to mention, they give you a 65 CAD penalty fee, according to their TrackBall Black Google Form Application... apparently? Which isn't enforceable, because you can't enforce a penalty fee in a Google Form, since it's not a legally binding contract, It's a data-collection tool for consumers, so you are basically admitting that you are collecting data from established record labels that wrote all this shit out?
"Note: We do not accept new labels, your label must be established, and the content on your label must be fully original."
Aww, isn't that just fucking great for your precious Google Form description? Apparently, you don't accept new labels, but the ones that are established are allowed in? How does that make sense? OH WAIT, It doesn't! Because your sub-distributor is a WHOLE JOKE.
"Want to onboard your label to Trackball Black? Fill out this form and we'll get back to you with a verdict and pricing plan custom tailored for your label, we can do monthly, yearly, and biannual billing."
WAIT WAIT WAI- WHEEEEZEEEE, SO... You are saying that if a record label has a huge catalog... and makes big money, it's possible that you would charge them DYNAMICALLY?! Like, the huger the catalog, the more you would say "alright, i want you to pay $15,000 to us, then we will give you dashboard access"?! BAAHAHAHAHAHHAHA!!! HOW HYPOCRITICAL CAN YOU BE?! BECAUSE YOU ARE ACTUALLY KILLING ME, DUDE! How the fuck can you suck so bad at being a sub-distributor that you would have to charge labels with huge catalogs more money, in exchange for shittier support responses, and your fake XZ1 Publishing internal branch? You partner with like a publisher, and you are like "Yeah, we just launched a publishing branch, all because we partnered with some music publisher." THAT'S NOT HOW THAT WORKS! Honestly, dude... keep being a hypocrite, it's funny to watch your corporate empire collapsing every single second.
This internal music publishing branch you brag about?
It doesn't just makes you a sub-publisher, instead, it makes you a white-label, or should i say... a white-publisher?
They also use a .cc domain extension... which bare in mind, is used by phishing emails, and crypto-involved scams, and a bunch of other bullshit... I'm sure TrackBall is sooo... legit, right?
You wanna know the biggest mind fuck?
...
They don't even really distribute your music at all! They use a middleman, on top of another middleman, who has backend access to The Orchard! Not to mention, that TrackBall's support team is only BudgieMint himself! He is just one person, replying to support emails, which is why it's so slow, not to mention, TrackBall has sunsetted their Free Tier, and nerfed it so that he would reply to support emails from Free Tier artists or record labels less often, and focus on replying to support emails on the paid tiers.
Who's the middleman you may wonder that TrackBall Distribution (call them Sub-Distribution instead) uses?
...
Plastic Head Media! That's the middleman TrackBall uses! PHM (Plastic Head Media) is a UK-based record label, and have their own distribution branch called Plastic Head Distribution, aka PHD for short, and Plastic Head Media explicitly lets in ONLY artists, and record labels, not sub-distros like TrackBall Distribution...
...
Furthermore:
TrackBall also charges expensive prices, that normally would be cheap to pay like for DistroKid, right? but TrackBall said "Nope!" and threw it all out the window, and made artists and labels charge $80 a year just to use his service, TrackBall isn't just a sub-distributor, it's disguised as a money-laundering scheme, led by one of the most ignorant, most inexperienced so called "entrepreneur" named "BudgieMint" aka Snowy on Reddit, or by full name on the Crunchbase Person Profile, Malith Jayasinghe, the Canadian-born 18 year old who loves to make his record label a meme playground... a LITERAL MEME PLAYGROUND, I'm not surprised Malith also has a discord server dedicated to XZ1 Recordings, which is honestly pathetic and really... really sad.
Malith, is also the same person who tells labels to get a professional domain and custom email on Day 1... genuinely, is this dude delusional? He is acting like if he knew what scaling was, but instead, he doesn't know what scaling even means, which makes it 10x more pathetic for him!
According to this mn2s news article from April 2025, This is what Malith had answered to this one particular question:
What advice would you give to anyone thinking of setting up their own imprint?
Malith said this:
Anyone can start a label, even if you don’t have money! XZ1 was founded with $0 dollars and look how we’re doing today. Anything is possible if you put your best effort into it. The way you get your label out there is your key to success.
You can read more on the MN2S News Article right here
WARNING: PERSONAL META-COMMENTARY AHEAD
Now... for you, Malith, take this personally:
You should remember this, The internet never forgets... once it's out, it will haunt you forever.
Also, i know for a fact that i wasn't fucking hallucinating when i said that XZ1 MUSIC PUBLISHING (the internal branch), is just a White-Label PRO partnership with AllTrack in 2025, just a year after AllTrack launched developer APIs in 2024, this means that Malith is just using a third party PRO in a white-label suit, slapping his own XZ1 branding, and call it ✨"XZ1 MUSIC PUBLISHING"✨
Oh, and i want to give out a smoking gun, to really send it off.
Malith is a confirmed vibe-coder, no wonder trackball.cc, xz1.ca and xz1recordings.ca, are so vibe-coded and so out of touch, and because it was vibe-coded... that explains everything you need to know.
Chase The Proxy (literally, lmao)
Now, i haven't talked about the other person, to address the elephant room, we gotta take a step back, ALL THE WAY to June 7th, when a burner account by the name of Different-Tangelo708 posted the leak of RAM's contract, which turns out, was actually a canary trap, aka a decoy contract, specifically designed to catch bad actors and leakers, Chase was basically leaking a decoy contract, this is later to be confirmed and identified as Chase's burner account, as he replied with a literal skull emoji, which is a white flag surrender for "aaaaand, i'm busted.", to back up my claim, here is the reddit replies:
The leak happened almost 5 HOURS (or exactly 4 hours and 39 minutes later, if you want to be specific) AFTER RAM's last email was sent to Chase (last email from RAM to Chase was on 6/7/2026 1:35 PM EDT), then at 6:14 PM EDT, the contract leak happened on Chase's burner account as a reddit post, where he attaches a pdf2link.com link (which, ironically, the pdf2link.com website is what i used to do it to archive TrackBall's TOS as well, you can view it above, so it backfired right back on them.)
To, top it all off, Chase had been very impatient, the first email he sent, was from May 29th, and it lasted from May 29th to June 7th, which if you can even COUNT, that's 9 DAYS wasted on back and forth emails, most of it was Chase being impatient about where the contract is, which RAM had to fake apologies in the email replies, which RAM held Chase back for those 9 days, back and forth about the contract, and RAM knew that this impatience test was working, RAM does this to see if the person is a leaker, eventually RAM sent the decoy contract to Chase on the 7th, and then Chase went silent for 4 hours and 39 minutes... then the contract leak post happened, and RAM caught onto the leaker who was correctly identified as Chase, from earlier.
Chase is obviously a proxy to Snowy (aka BudgieMint, aka Malith i talked about earlier), because RAM connected the dots so quickly, that it was a calculated set up designed to try and dismantle RAM once and for all, that was the motive and the intentions behind Chase and alith, they want RAM to fuck off, but RAM stays, and instead, flips the dismantling set up, right back at them, as of this archive on XZ1 Archives.
And just like that, The "Chase The Proxy" chapter is done, my only suspicion is that... Chase Archer might just be a sort of fake full name, but that's just my suspicion, If it's actually Malith behind the account, then, that's just anti-competition at that point.
To play on the RAM ethos, the 'we believe in partnerships, not ownership' ethos,
RAM believes in partnerships, not ownership, XZ1 Recordings on the other hand, believes in ownership and child exploitation, not partnerships.
HOWEVER
It is not over yet, there is still a lot more about Malith and XZ1 Recordings to find, I'll update the XZ1 Archives until new infos are available, for now, above everything is all you are gonna get, see you on the other end of the cliff that you are hanging on, meaning in a sub-text: "I will gladly come back with more info if they are available."
This is what happens when you try to dismantle Random Accessory Media (RAM), RAM dismantles you right back with a truck-load of your non-anonymous information, let this be a lesson that you will never forget, Malith.
Just for anyone that is reading this, I don't intend on harassing anyone in the Archives, especially Malith, I am just giving him a life lesson that running a distributor, a record label and a music publisher, is VERY difficult, because running all that, and still failing to fix the major flaws, is just really pathetic, he is 18 years old, in college (a University) and still... he fails... HE FAILS what he is doing on the internet, every time! He is so delusional, that he thinks he is untouchable on the internet, but knowing this archive exists, he probably would re-think his life choices.
